Salley man arrested by Swansea PD and SLED for bar shooting during a Halloween party

Swansea, SC 01/31/2024 - Officers from the Swansea Police Department along with the SLED Fugitive Unit arrested Arthur James Hodge Jr, 31, of Salley with attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Hodge is accused of shooting a club bouncer after a verbal dispute turned physical. The incident took place at the Amici Tavern located at 1041 Savannah Hwy. during a Halloween Party.

Hodge was transported to the Lexington County Detention Center where he is being held without bail.
