South Carolina 4-H students receive national awards in equine events

Lexington, SC 11/16/2021 (Paul Kirby) - Over the past seven years, the South Carolina 4-H Horse Program has received numerous top-five national awards. This year’s national contest awards were no different. In total, this year’s team placed in that top-five for the 14th and 15th time.
Aliza Allison of Lexington County, Chloe Margeson of Greenville County, Ethan Willie, also of Lexington County, and Langley Vernon of Anderson County represented South Carolina at the 2021 Eastern National 4-H Horse Round-Up in Louisville, Kentucky, on November 6 and 7. Erika Hwang, Lexington County’s 4-H Agent, was of great assistance to the team in coaching and chaperoning the team.
