South Congaree PD takes suspect into custody for possession with intent to distribute drugs

South Congaree, SC 02/28/2023 (Paul Kirby) - Officers with the South Congaree Police Department arrested Phillip Pruitt Monday after they found him passed out in a vehicle. He was parked in a local parking lot according to the department. After officers woke the suspect, and during the process of interviewing Pruitt, they discovered that he was in possession of both Fentanyl and methamphetamine as well as items associated with its distribution.

Pruitt was placed under arrest and charged with possession with intent to distribute Fentanyl and methamphetamine. He was transported to the Lexington County Detention Center and booked.
