Cayce, SC 09/21/2023 - The Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission will be hosting a groundbreaking ceremony on September 26, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Henry C. Moore Park, which is located at 1500 Dunbar Road, Cayce, SC 29033.
The purpose of this event is to announce the repurposing/renovation of 4 existing tennis courts into 16 LED lighted pickleball courts. The project is significant as it will provide a new recreational option for the community by providing an outdoor facility for one of the fastest-growing sports. The project is being partially funded through a federal Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant.
