The Three Rivers Region of the Porsche Club of America is hosting a large car show to support Camp Kemo

Lexington, S.C. 04/16/2024 – The Three Rivers Region of the Porsche Club of America is hosting a large car show called Speed and Beauty Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, April 28th from 12p.m. - 4p.m. at the historic Columbia Speedway, located at 2001 Charleston Highway, Cayce SC 29033. There are a lot of different activities going on during the show, so there’s something for everyone.

“We’re excited to host this incredible event at our largest venue ever,” said Melissa Sprouse Browne, president of the Three Rivers Region of the Porsche Club of America. “One of our original members, Rock Webb, started this event 39 years ago and we’re thrilled to continue the tradition of donating to Camp Kemo, a program offered through Prisma Health for children with cancer.”

Registration is open for car exhibitors at www.threeriversregionpca.org or at eventbrite.com by searching Speed and Beauty. All car types are accepted and it’s only $30 to show your vehicle. Spectators will enjoy seeing fine examples of cars from Porsche, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Chevrolet, Ford and more. Exotics, muscle cars, classics and racers are welcome. Vote for your favorite to select the winner of the People’s Choice award!

The event will feature a food truck rodeo, a beer garden and a gaming rig to participate in SIM racing onsite in a competitive session of Gran Turismo. Awards will be given for fastest laps. Local dealers will have displays, including McDaniels Porsche, McDaniels Acura, BMW of Columbia, Dick Dyer Mercedes Benz and Steve Padgett’s Honda of Lake Murray. There will also be an assortment of vendors with booths on site.

New this year is our tribute to first responders, featuring vehicles from the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, the West Columbia Police Department, and the Cayce Public Safety Department.

A Zumba dance party is happening at the event once every hour, led by one of our area’s most popular Zumba instructors, Zumba Eddie (Eddie Sharon).

Parking is only $5 per car. Donations accepted throughout the event for Camp Kemo. Doors open to the public at 12:00 p.m.
