White Knoll High School Junior Kaniya M. Johnson earned the Class 5A 100-meter and 200-meter state titles. Johnson ran the 100-meter in 11.53 seconds, which is not only the fastest time in South Carolina but also the fourth fastest time in the country. She ran the 200-meter in 23.58 seconds, the seventh fastest time in the country. Johnson is already fielding scholarships to continue track and field at the collegiate level.
