Edmund, SC - 03/12/2021 (Paul Kirby) – A serious traffic collision on Boiling Springs Road near the intersection of Redmond and Bethany Church Roads critically injured several people Thursday morning. One person was flown via medical helicopter from the Equestrian Arena in South Congaree to Prisma Health’s Trauma Center in Columbia for treatment.
According to one person who was on the scene, a local business’ service truck was involved. It had flipped over, and the other vehicle involved was a twisted wreck. There were multiple patients on scene and reports were received that some occupants may have been ejected during the collision.
The current condition of the injured is not available due to privacy laws. The SCHP is investigating the collision and has not released any details.
