Town of Lexington to Host Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Snowball Festival at Icehouse Amphitheater

Lexington, SC 11/8/2026 - The holiday season is quickly approaching, and the Town of Lexington is inviting the community to celebrate at its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Movie Night at the Icehouse Amphitheater as part of the 2026 Snowball Festival.

The festive evening will feature holiday entertainment, local vendors, pictures with Santa, and a special outdoor movie screening.

The celebration will begin with the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Attendees will enjoy a performance by the River Bluff High School choir, along with a special message from Watershed Fellowship.

Before the ceremony, visitors can enjoy the Snowball Festival Craft Fair, which will run from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. The craft fair will feature 66 vendors offering handmade gifts, crafts, and holiday treasures, providing an opportunity for shoppers to find unique items and support local vendors during the holiday season.

Families will also have the opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., making it a festive outing for children and adults alike.

Following the tree lighting ceremony, the evening’s festivities will continue with a showing of the holiday favorite Elf beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The annual celebration offers an opportunity for families, friends, and neighbors to come together, enjoy the holiday atmosphere, support local vendors, and kick off the Christmas season in the Town of Lexington.

Community members are encouraged to bring their families and enjoy an evening filled with holiday spirit at the Icehouse Amphitheater.
