Town of Pine Ridge reschedules December meeting indefinitely

Pine Ridge, SC (Paul Kirby) 12/08/2020 – The Town of Pine Ridge notified the public Tuesday that their town council meeting scheduled for tonight, December 8, 2020 has been postponed. They said they were doing this for the safety of the public and staff as a result of COVID exposure.

The town hall is being closed and will remain so until Friday, December 17, 2020. During this time, the building will be treated and disinfected to ensure it is safe to reopen once the employees have passed the mandatory quarantine period. The notification said that the public will be informed via Facebook and the town’s website when the rescheduled meeting will be held.

In closing, the town’s notification ended by calling the closure of the town hall and the rescheduling of tonight’s meeting, “truly unfortunate,” but, “required to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents of Pine Ridge.”
