Springdale, SC 05/31/2022 (Paul Kirby) - The Town of Springdale is in the final planning stages for its Summerfest and Golf Cart Parade. According to Springdale’s Mayor Juston Ricard, everyone is excited as this wonderful evening of fun draws near.
This year, the event will be held on Saturday, June 18th from 7 until 9 p.m. The Town is currently accepting entries for the Golf Cart Parade. The more outlandish the decoration of the golf carts the better as they parade down Platt Springs Road to the Springdale Town Hall. There will be prizes for the golf carts best decorated for summer. The entire family will also have a blast at Summerfest after the parade. This event is completely free. There will be food, snacks, musical entertainment, and fireworks. Make sure you mark this on your calendar, so you won’t miss it.
