West Columbia, SC 02/13/2024 - Two Airport High School athletes declared their intent Tuesday to play their sports at the college level.
Jesse Ray Hoover has committed to University of South Carolina-Sumter to play golf. Hoover also plays football at Airport.
Cheerleader Tori Powell has committed to the acrobatics and tumbling team at Limestone University.
The two participated in a signing ceremony Tuesday. Coaches, teammates, fellow students, family members, and faculty and staff attended the event, which was held in Airport’s arena.
