Vandal strikes Swansea laundromat again

Swansea, SC (Paul Kirby) - The Swansea Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in locating a person who vandalized the local laundromat. This has happened before.

According to police, the man pictured in the videos and photograph that was taken from the facility’s surveillance system entered the laundromat and forced open a machine. Police say that the thief made off with just a few dollars in change but did a great deal of damage to the machine itself. Its repairs or replacement may run into the hundreds of dollars for the laundromat owner.

If you recognize this individual and are comfortable around them, officers hope you will advise them that it would be best all-around if they turned themselves into the Swansea Police Department. If they're not willing to do that, please call the Swansea Police Department with your tips at (803) 568-3366. As always Swansea police officers say that your assistance is appreciated.
