West Columbia attorney Ashton Gottschall now licensed in North Carolina too

West Columbia, S.C. 02/02/2021 - Ashton Gottschall, an attorney with D’Alberto, Graham & Grimsley, is now licensed to practice in North Carolina in addition to South Carolina. Gottschall was sponsored by D’Alberto, Graham & Grimsley partner Ben Grimsley, also licensed in North Carolina, and sworn into the North Carolina State Bar on Dec. 10.

Gottschall’s practice centers on representing buyers and sellers as lead counsel in commercial real estate transactions of varying complexity. He also frequently serves as local counsel for out of state clients buying and selling South Carolina properties and businesses.

With this new licensure, Gottschall is now available for North Carolina transactions as well. He also works closely with business owners and entrepreneurs to establish new business entities or to expand and revitalize their existing businesses. He frequently prepares and revises clients’ corporate and operational documents to ensure that their businesses are strategically structured and able to operate in the best manner to achieve their goals.

Gottschall joined the firm in 2018 after graduating from the University of South Carolina School of Law. In law school, he served as an Articles Editor for the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Journal. He also served in leadership positions for several law school organizations, including as President of the USC Federalist Society chapter. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Carolina Upstate.

Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Gottschall and his wife Lauren are active members of Grace Presbyterian Church in Columbia.
