West Columbia, SC 01/15/2022 (Paul Kirby) – The CVS Pharmacy on Charleston Highway near Knox Abbott Drive in the City of West Columbia was robbed several days ago. According to Captain Matt Deas, a spokesman with the WCPD, the robbery occurred on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at approximately 10:30 am.
Captain Deas said that morning, two armed men entered the CVS and demanded drugs. The pharmacy’s staffed complied with their demand and gave them the medications. The two men then fled the area on foot.
The West Columbia Police Department has not yet released a description of the men however, they are hoping that someone in the community has knowledge of the suspects and this crime.
