West Columbia, S.C. 03/29/2022 (Paul Kirby) – The West Columbia Police Department is asking the public for their assistance in locating a missing man. According to a spokesman for the department, on March 28th, 2022 twenty-eight year old Simon Manuel Gates was reported missing from his Branham Street home in West Columbia. He was last seen on March 23rd, 2022.
Simon was last seen wearing a t-shirt and athletic shorts getting into a black sedan. He is 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has scars on the inside of both of his ankles. He is known to frequent the state and national parks in South Carolina.
