West Columbia Police Department investigating Augusta Road shooting

West Columbia, SC 11/15/2022 (Paul Kirby) – City of West Columbia police officers responded to the 2800 block of Augusta Road, West Columbia yesterday after receiving a 911 call about a shooting on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. The call regarding the shooting was at 7:56 p.m. When officers arrived, they discovered two victims were at the scene. Those individuals were transported to an area hospital where they were treated and released for non-life-threatening injuries. West Columbia Police Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.
