West Columbia Police Department searching for missing endangered adult

West Columbia, S.C. 03/05/2022 (Paul Kirby) – The West Columbia Police Department is asking the public for help trying to find a missing woman. On March 4, 2022, the mother of a West Columbia woman, thirty-one-year-old Gena Autury Renee Smith, reported she hadn't seen her daughter at their home in the citify since the day before. This is extremely unusual. That places the last sighting of Gena as Thursday, March 3, 2022.

When her mother last saw her, she was wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and a plaid jacket. She is five feet four inches tall and weighs 145 pounds. She currently has a short haircut. Gena Autury Renee Smith has medical conditions and is considered to be an endangered adult.

The West Columbia Police Department is seeking any available information on the whereabouts of Ms. Smith. If you have seen her with someone or alone, please pass that information to the West Columbia Police Department at (803) 794-0721. You can also submit an anonymous tip to Midlands CrimeStoppers at or through their P3 Tips app.
