West Columbia, SC 03/30/2021 - Residents of western Lexington County may find it more convenient to get their COVID-19 vaccinations in Aiken County Wednesday. That's because the Lexington Medical Center will host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Wagener Fire Station in Aiken County on Wednesday, March 31 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. According to LMC, South Carolina residents ages 16 and up are eligible for the shot as of that date.

On Wednesday, March 31, South Carolina will open COVID-19 vaccination to everyone ages 16 and up. Lexington Medical Center is now accepting registration for appointments for those individuals to receive vaccines. To register, go to LexMed.com/vaccine and click on “Request Form” to register for the vaccine by providing information including your name, date of birth and email address. Lexington Medical Center will upload the email addresses to the Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS). Then, individuals will receive an email from VAMS allowing them to complete their registration and schedule a date and time for a vaccine appointment.
Individuals who do not have email or access to a computer can call (803) 739 – 3363 Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Lexington Medical Center representative will assist them with scheduling an appointment, even if they do not have an email address.
All individuals receiving a vaccination must have an appointment. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
To date, Lexington Medical Center has administered more than 60,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
