White Knoll educator receives Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching

White Knoll, SC 01/28/2025 - Dr. Susan Scott from White Knoll High School recently received a Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.

This program, administered by the National Science Foundation on behalf of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, recognizes outstanding teachers for their contributions to the teaching and learning of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Dr. Scott will receive a certificate signed by Former President Joe Biden and a $10,000 award from NSF. She will also travel to Washington, D.C., for an awards ceremony at a future date.
