Irmo, SC 05/20/2024 (Paul Kirby) – Lexington County detectives have arrested 20-year-old Chrystal Gordon and charged her with domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. This arrest stems from a shooting that occurred last week.
According to a spokesman for Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon, deputies were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of Leslie Loch Lane near Irmo. They were there looking into what was reported as a shooting incident.
According to the Sheriff’s office, someone called 911 and reported a woman shot a man she knew. The caller also said the shooting victim was already on the way to the hospital.
Detectives were called to the scene and began interviewing people at the scene. They then responded to the hospital to interview the witness and anyone else there that might have information about the shooting.
Based on what they learned, they arrested and charged Gordon with the crime. She was transported to the Lexington County Detention Center where she was booked and is being held.
The shooting victim was still hospitalized as of Saturday, May 18, 2024.
